The week started out great with an unexpected package from my friend Tina who just got back from Africa. As you can see by the box contents she knows me well.
After work skijour with a friends dog that we are watching. We soft mush snow made for bad ski conditions, but we still tried.
Training the seals in "snow globe" conditions, "Tongass" was giving me his flipper.
Seabird survey out in the bay got exciting when we spotted a pod of Orcas. We took a lot of photos of their left sides of their dorsal fins to ID them.
This is two boats in one. The Bottom one is a type of submergible barge from China that sinks half way so the oil rig plat form can be pulled up onto the barg for transport. it has been in Res. Bay for a few months now for repairs. All loaded up this eye sore should be leaving any day now.
